Portrait Information
You are creative and individual. You want something
that reflects you and your lifestyle, who you are and how you live.
We want you to have the best photographs possible. We aim
to make your time with us exciting, vibrant and fun. In order to do this we
make the following suggestions...
Session Location
We base our wedding and portrait photography on our location fashion work.
Rather than having the same backdrop each time we want to make our photographs
of you as individual and creative as possible. We want to make each of our
client's an entirely personal and individual portfolio of images. Our photographs
of you will be different from everybody else's. We love to respond to different
locations whether they be coastline, countryside, urban or a favourite location
of your choice. Different lighting and weather conditions aren't a problem
- they are an opportunity to produce something special.
Our sessions usually last two hours each and involve a
variety of backdrops, locations, poses and people. When we initially discuss
your requirements prior to the shoot we will discuss location choices. We
have a variety of locations available to us but we are happy to travel to
a special location of your choice. We work in all weather conditions but we
suggest at the initial booking stage that if it is too wet on the designated
day that we book an alternative appointment as backup.
What to wear
We will discuss with you prior to the session what to wear. For family groups
may we suggest that you coordinate your clothing to ensure the photographs
have a graphic harmony. For children we also suggest that you bring along
toys such as a favourite teddy bear or a football. Not only does this make
the child more comfortable and give them something to to do they always act
as fantastic props to build pictures around. We want to make our photographs
as true as possible to all our sitter's personalities.
For adults we want to photograph you looking fantastic
but comfortable. We use a lot of movement in our images so you should
be able to move around freely. We also suggest for all the sessions that
you bring a variety of changes so that we can vary images. We also advise
that as the weather can change rapidly that you include waterproof clothing
in the change of clothing.
Booking Fee
We charge a session fee for each portrait session. We won't take this
until you have ordered your final images but we do take your credit card
details at this initial stage. If sessions are cancelled at the last moment
we may have to disappoint other clients who would have used our services
so we take a cancellation fee of £40.00 from your credit card in
these circumstances. This fee will not apply if you rebook an alternative
session at the same time of initial cancellation.
Image selection
You can view your images projected on a large scale so that you can see
the images properly. We have a large selection of ways of altering your
images and a wide choice of presentation materials for you to choose from.
We meet without young children as they and therefore you may find it hard
to concentrate on the selection of your images.
Hard sell
We don't do it!!! We are confident that the quality of our work sells
itself. We want you like countless other clients to come back to our studio
in the future so that together we can create a priceless record of you
and your family. Rather than having something everybody else has have
a work of art that is special to you and for you forever.
